Our Projects

SAFE SPACE FOR HER

About

The Safe Space for Her (SSFH) Project is a transformative initiative aimed at addressing period poverty, an issue that affects many young girls, particularly in underserved communities across Kwara State, Nigeria. Period poverty goes beyond the lack of access to menstrual products; it impacts education, dignity, and overall well-being. Through an open-source, human-centered approach, we combine reproductive and sexual health education, empowerment workshops, and the distribution of reusable sanitary pads to support girls in need. By tackling these challenges, SSFH seeks to create a supportive environment where girls can thrive without being held back by their menstrual cycle.
